2  -  The pass/fail line; where there are signs of correct stress and intonation but a lot of distortation

1  -  Will be given for the labored and inaccurate reading.

0  -  Will be given for almost incomprehensible reading.

6 – 7    Responses are limited, hesitant containing very many errors.

8 – 9    answers contain quite a number of errors.

10 – 11   Responses good, fairly fluent, instant, makes few errors.

12 – 14   Responses confident, spontaneous, idiomatic and fluent with a few errors.

15        Candidate whose French is almost perfect.
