      • Extended Binary Coded Decimal Interchange Code- It is 8 bit coding scheme used to represent both numeric and non-numeric characters. Can represent up to a maximum of 256 characters
      • American Standard Code for Information Interchange – It is a 7 bit coding scheme representing both numeric and non-numeric characters. It can represent up to a maximum of 128 characters
