- Outline Jeremiah’s prophecies concerning the Messiah (7marks ).
- He would be righteous and honest
- He would do what is right and just
- He would reign as a king /rule on behalf of God
- He would bring salvation upon behalf of God
- He would provide security / safety in Israel
- There would be no sorrow ,injustice/fear in his Kingdom
- He would be called ‘The Lord our Righteous.

- Describe the Dedication of Jesus in Luke 2:21-40 [8marks]
- When the time for dedication and purification came, Jesus was taken to Jerusalem according to the Law of Moses.
- The law demanded that every first born male be consecrated to God ,the parent to offer the tithe ,dove and a young pigeon
- In the Temple there was a man called Simeon and he was a righteous and devout man Simeon waited for the salvation of Israel
- The Spirit of God came upon him and revealed to him that he would not die before seeing the Messiah of the Lord.
- He came to the temple and took Jesus in his hands and blessed God
- He asked God to let him go in peace for he had witnessed the salvation of Israel
- He said that the Messiah would be a light to the Gentile and salvation for Israel which he had prepared in the sight of all people
- Simeon blessed them and said that Jesus was destined for fall and rise of many.
- In the temple there was prophetess Anna a widow, she also gave thanks to God and spoke about Jesus who was to be a redeemer of Jerusalem.
- After the rituals Jesus parents returned to Nazareth.

- To prevent oppression by the devil through sickness, accidents etc.

- Describe the transfiguration of Jesus in reference to Luke 9:28 – 37. (8marks)
- Jesus took Peter, John and James to a mountain to pray.
- As He was praying, His image was transformed and his clothes became dazzling white.
- Two men Elijah and Moses appeared in glory.
- They talked to Him about the mission he was to accomplish in Jerusalem.
- Peter and his companion were in a deep sleep.
- When they woke up they saw two men talking with Jesus and were leaving Him.
- Peter suggested to Jesus that they should build three booths, one for Moses, One for Elijah and another for Jesus without knowing what he was saying.
- A cloud came and overshadowed them.
- A voice was heard from the cloud saying “This is my son whom I have chosen listen to him”.
- After the voice they found Jesus alone.
- Peter and his companion kept silence and told no one what they had seen.

- Christians learn that Jesus is the son of God / Holy.
- Christian should always be alert.
- Christians should be prayerful
- Christian learnt that Jesus is the Messiah foretold by the Old Testament Prophets.
- Christians should enter the presence of God with great respect/ reverence.
- Christians should learn to endure suffering.
- Christians learn that Jesus was a fulfillment of the Old Testament law/ prophecies.
- Christian should live with hope of knowing that there is life after death.

- Outline the preparation that Jesus made from the last supper in reference to Luke 22:7-14.(7marks)
- On the day of Passover lamb or unleavened bread
- Jesus sent two disciples – John and Peter to prepare for Lord’s Supper.
- The two asked where they could prepare it.
- Jesus answered that as they were to enter into the city they would be met by a man carrying a jar of water.
- They were to follow him into the house he enters.
- They were to tell the house keeper to show them where to prepare for the last supper.
- The house keeper would show them an upper room well punished.
- The disciples went and found as Jesus told them.
- They prepared and set the table for Jesus and remaining disciples.

- They paid Judas Iscariot to betray him.
- They engaged armed temple guards to deal with any resistance.
- They arrested Jesus at night fearing resistance from his disciples.

- They accused him of treason which is punishment to death
- They black mailed Pilate to accept their demands.
- They asked Pilate to release Barabbas instead of Jesus.
- They handed Jesus over to the Roman Soldiers to be crucified.

- The body of Christ comprises of Different members in it.
- Every member is important in making the body of Christ Whole.
- One member can’t do without the others. They need one another.
- If one member suffers all suffers together
- If one member is honored all rejoice together.
- The body of Christ is one
- Different member in the body of Christ have different spiritual gifts.
- The spiritual gifts should be used to build the body of Christ.
- Members of the body of Christ should remain united always.

- Marriage is polygamous
- Marriage and procreation are inter twined
- Marriage is covenant relationship.
- Divorce is discouraged.
- The choice of a marriage partner is influenced and approved by senior members of the family.
- Payment of bride wealth is necessary required.
- The traditional African marriage does not and with death of a husband.
- The wife is subordinate to the husband but has her established rights.

- Identify seven factors that contribute to Unemployment in Kenya today. (7marks)
- High population whereby there are too many people for the available job opportunities.
- Some people lack skills which make them not to be absorbed in the job market.
- Foreign aid – dependence on foreign aid causes the doors to give conditions of unemployment e.g. loan service.
- Selfish greed – some Kenyans have more than two jobs while others lack.
- Education system – many Kenyan’s prefer white collar jobs after school.
- Negative attitude towards work – some Kenyans
- Lack the initiative to do or participate in employment than others.
- New technological advancement has led to retrenchment.
- Preference the high qualified than the less highly qualified.
- Insecurity/ Increase in crime discourage local and international investor.
- Bad governance / poor economic policies by government.

- Pray for them that may reform.
- Visit them and give them encouragement.
- Guide and counsel them to find the root cause of their problems and know how to deal with it

- Occupy them with something useful to do i.e. enroll them in a college or vocation institutewhere they can learn practical skills.
- Take them to hospital for medical attention.
- Involve them in active leisure.

- Wealth is a gift from God and a reward for good work.
- Wealth is measured in terms of the number of wives children, livestock and size of land a man has.
- Wealth without a family is not complete and unmarried person cannot be thought of as wealthy.
- A rich man can freely talk about his wealth as a sign of success
- .Woman and children are not allowed to own any property.
- Man works hard so they can have something to leave behind for their families when they die.
- The rich share wealth with needy relatives.
- Men with wealth are honored and given respect by the society

- Register as a voter and vote in national elections.
