  • You will be expected to keep to your order of work during the practical session.
  • You are only allowed to take away your reference materials at the end of the planning session
  • You are not allowed to bring additional notes to the practical session.
  • Candidates should check the question paper to ascertain that both papers are printed as indicated and that no page is missing.
  • Candidates should answer the question in English.

THE TEST
Your friend spent the night at your house. Using all the ingredients listed below, prepare, cook and present two suitable items for breakfast for two of you. Include a beverage.

  5. Cocoa/tea leaves
  6. Plain wheat flour/bread
  7. Margarine
  8. Milk
  9. Arrow roots

Planning session: 30 minutes
For each task listed below, use separate sheets of paper and make duplicate copies using carbon paper.
Then proceed as follows;

  1.  Identifies the dishes and write the recipes
  2. Write your order of work
  3. Make a list of the foodstuff and equipment you will require.
