      1. Its authors were inspired by God.
      2. It’s a revelation of the salvation history, fulfilled in Jesus Christ.
      3. It contains the words of people sent by God i.e. prophets.
      4. It reveals that God controlled what was being written, in that its idea and truths came from God Himself.
      5. God Himself took part in the writing of the Bible i.e the Ten Commandments.
      6. The new Testament is mainly concerned with the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is the word incarnate
      7. It reveals God’s nature and character.
      8. It contains word spoken by God directly from His mouth.
      9. It contains prediction and prophecies which eventually come to pass. (7x1mks)

      1. In both cases God is seen as the sole creator of the universe and everything in it.

      7. Haran died in Ur and left a son, Lot.
      8. The family moved from Ur, heading to Canaan but settled i Haran.
      9. His father, Terah died in Haran.
      10. He belonged to the Semitic tribe who were nomadic pastoralists. (7x1=7mks)

      1. To obey what God commanded them.
      2. Not to worship any other god.
      3. To rest on the Sabbath day/keep it holy.
