- In the first account human being were created last while in the second account they were created fist.
- The first account of creation is out of nothing while the second account is out of already existing things.
- In the first account, firmament, light, sun, moon, starts are included while in the second account they are not mentioned.
- The planting of the garden and making of the river are in the second account but omitted in the first account.
- In the first account man and woman were created at the same time while in the second account man is created from dust while woman is from man’s rib.
- In the first account of creation marriage is for procreation while in second account marriage is for companion.
- In the second account there is mentioning of forbidden tree but it is omitted in the first account.
