    • To control/ have dominion over all creation of God.
    • Till the land and subdue if.
    • Procreate/multiply and fill the earth.
    • Naming every creature.
    • For companionship.
    • To choose between good and bad.
    • To obey Gods command.
    • To eat from the garden.
  2. State seven promises of God to kind David .(7mks)
    • David’s name would be famous and great.
    • God would protect Israel oppression and make her live in peace.
    • God would protect David from his enemies.
    • God would rise up an heir from David’s lineage to sit on the thrown.
    • God would establish an everlasting kingdom for David.
    • David and his descendants would be blessed forever.
    • God would give Israel their own land to settle.
    • David’s descendants would rule forever.
    • The messiah would come from David’s lineage.
    • God would punish David’s sons when they did wrong as a father punishes a son.

    • Jesus parents started their journey back at home hoping the was with them.
    • Jesus deliberately remained in the temple.
    • His parents discovered Jesus was missing after a day’s journey.
    • They looked for Jesus among his relative and friends but did not find him. 
    • They went to look for him in Jerusalem.
    • Jesus was found after three days search talking to the teachers of the law in the temple and asking questions.
    • The teachers of the law were amazed at his wisdom and great understanding of the scriptures.
    • His mother asked him why he had made them anxious looking for him.
    • Jesus asked them whether they did not know that he was supposed to be in his father’s house.
    • Parents did not understand his questions.
    • Jesus went home with his parents and was obedient to them and grew in wisdom.

    • To make it easy for the people to understand the complicated theme of unseen kingdom.
    • To avoid direct confrontation with the Pharisees.
    • To  isolate seniors and keen listeners from the rest of the group.
    • He was to keep his identity a secret until he finalizes his mission.

  11. Relate the miracle of Jesus healing of the centurion’s servant. (Luke 7:1-10).(8mks)
    • In Capernaum there was a centurion who had a sick slave at the point of death.
    • He knew that Jesus had power to heal.
    • He sent Jewish elders to ask him to come and heal his slave.
    • The Jewish elders went and requested Jesus to go and heal the centurion’s servant.
    • The intercession of Jewish leaders made Jesus to turn towards the centurion’s house.
    • When the centurion heard that Jesus was coming to him, he sent friends to stop him.
    • The centurion showed faith in Jesus ability by saying ‘say a word for the servant shall be well’.
    • Jesus marveled at hi faith. Jesus turned to the multitude and said he had not found such faith.
    • Even in Israel when those had been sent returned home, they found the slave well.
