    • The believers are chosen people/race/they have been selected.
    • They are a royal priesthood.
    • They are holy nation/expected to lead holy/righteousness lives.
    • They belong to god/they form a family of gods own profession.
    • They are to declare wonderful deeds of god.
    • They were called from darkness to light.
    • They were once not a people /they were outside the covenant way of life.
    • They are led by the mercies of god
  2. Explain how peters life was transformed on the day of Pentecost(5mks)
    • Peter was filled with the holy spirit
    • He started speaking in tongues.
    • He became courageous/defended the disciples that they were not drunk.
    • He was able to remember Old Testament prophecies/teachings.
    • He began witnessing the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
    • He took up leadership roles.
    • He called people to repentance.
    • He was empowered to perform miracles.

    • Major prophets-the messages are elaborate/detailed
    • Minor prophets-they have short/brief messages.
    • Canonical prophets-they are prophets whose utterances are recorded in books that bear their names.
    • Non-canonical/prophets-they are prophets whose oracles/messages have been compiled by other authors.
    • Cultic-they are prophets whose duties were associated with the places of worship.
    • Early prophets- were sent by God for specific tasks.
  7. Give five reasons why Jesus used bread and wine during the last supper(5mks)
    • Jesus used bread because it was a common meal for the jews.
    • He used bread because unleavened bread was used during the jewish celebration of Passover.
    • He used wine because it was a common drink for the jews.
    • Jesus explain that,the bread represented his body which would be broken for forgiveness of sin..
    • He used wine to represent his blood that was to be shed for the sealing of the new covenant.
    • He used the bread to demonstrate that he is the bread of life.
    • Jesus shared bread and wine as a sign of fellowship/unity/preparation for messianic banquet.
