QUESTION 1: FUNCTIONAL WRITING           20 MARKS

Imagine you are the head of the Students’ Council in your school. There have been complaints about insecurity in the school. The Principal has formed a committee of six members who include two cooks, two teachers and two students, you being one of them. You are the secretary to that committee. You are to write a report after the committee investigates the problem, and submit it to the principal within a month. Write the report.

    2. Mention two things you will do during the debate so as to be successful. (2 marks)
  4. You have visited Kakuzi Farm Limited for the first time. Below is a part of the conversation that takes place between you and the marketing officer. Fill in the missing parts. (8 marks)

    Marketing officer: Welcome to Kakuzi Farm Limited. My name is Wairagu and I am in charge of taking you round.

Methods: 2mks.  At least 2 methods
Findings: 2mks.   At least 2 findings
Conclusion: 1mk.   A clear conclusion on the causes of insecurity.
Recommendations: 2mks.  At least 2 recommendations.
