QUESTIONS

   1. Using a DTP software design the publication shown on the next page as it is appears. (4mks) 
      • The length of the publication must be exactly 1 A4 page.
      • The document should not be doubled sided. 
      • Other than the small fonts try and use any other fancy fonts available in your software. 
      • Save your publication as Kodak 
   2. Insert a second page with all objects on page 1 (2mks)
   3. Type your name and index number in the header and footer section respectively. (4mks)
   4. Fit four copies of the design into a single page. Save as Kodak 2. (8mks)

2. Figure 2 is an extract from a spread sheet program showing transaction details of ferry uniform distributors. Use it to answer the questions that follow.
   
   
   1. Open a spread sheet program and create a FORM and use it to enter the data as it appears. Save the work book as Uniformdistributors. (14 marks)
   2. Copy the data in sheet 1 to sheet 2 and rename sheet 2 as Modified. (1 mark)
   3. Add the following details in cells A16 to B18 (2 marks)

      <500	10%

   4. Insert a new column between the item Bought and Price. Label it Material' (1mark)
   5. Using data validation list populate colour as follows (5marks)

   6. On sheet , use a formula with cell references to:
      1. Determine the total cost of each item bought by each customer (3 marks) 
      2. Using absolute cell referencing. Determine the new cost of the items bought given that a discount is awarded on each item bought as follows (3 marks)
         1. price below 500 - 5%
         2. price of 500 above - 10%
      3. Calculate total items bought by each customer (5marks)
   7. Copy the data in Modified to sheet 3 and rename sheet as Filter Filter Tunic where customer is Leeny Distributors (5 marks) 
   8. Create a column chart in a new sheet that compares the quantity of ties bought by kagiri and top hill distributors. Label the chart appropriately. propriately. (5 marks)
   9. Print out:
      1. Sheet1; (1 marks)
      2. Modified displaying the formulas; (2 marks)
      3. Filter; (1 marks) 
      4. Chart; (1 marks)
