    1. Describe the visit of the angel of the lord to the shepherds on the night Jesus was born.(Luke 2:8-15) (8mks)
      • The shepherds were looking after their flock in the fields at night.
      • The angel of the load appeared to them.
      • The glory of the lord shown around them.
      • They were filled with fear.
      • The angel told them not to be afraid.
      • He told them the good news about the birth of Jesus who was the savior in the city of David
      • The angel told them how to find the baby gave them a sign.
      • There appeared the host of angels singing and praising God.

    2. Outline the differences between the work of John the Baptist and that of Jesus Christ.(6mks)
      • John the Baptist preached in the wilderness while Jesus preached in the synagogue/homes/towns/temple.
      • John the Baptist called people for repentance while Jesus forgave them sins
      • John the Baptist baptized with water while but Jesus baptized with Holy Spirit
      • John the Baptist lived a life of the Baptist while Jesus mixed freely with other people
      • The emphasis of John's preaching was on the promised Messiah while that of Jesus performed miracles.
      • Joho ile Baptist was forerunner/prepared the way for the mess while Jesus was the Messiah.

      • Jesus was led into the wilderness where he stayed for forty days
      • lle ate nothing and therefore he felt hungry
      • The devil asked him to command a stone to become bread if the was the son of God
      • Jesus told him that man could not live hy bread alone
      • The devil took Jesus up and showed him the kingdom of the world and asked him to worship him so that he could give him everything
      • Jesus told the devil that only God alone is to be worshiped and served
      • The devil took Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and asked him to throw himself down for God would command angels to guard him
      • Jesus told the devil that one should not tempt God

      • They should be knowledgeable in the scriptures/biblical verses

      • Use of contraceptives hy some couples can lead to suspicion which eventually leads to divorce separations/quarrels
      • Contraceptives increases prostitution
      • Sometimes cases of sexually transmitted diseases are many among those who use contraceptives
      • God has made life sacred hence there should be no men's interference
      • Some contraceptives can cause death
      • God has given man ability to exercise self-control
      • The virtue of chastity is to be emphasized instead of using contraceptives so as to engage in abuse/irresponsible sex
