Section I

Reading aloud scoring scheme

Total marks = 5

5   –     Will be given for a pleasing approximation to a native French speaker convincingly sustained throughout the passage
4   –     To be considered as the down from 5 , will be given when the frenchness is s not sustained throughout
3   –     To be considered as the up from 2, where there is a significant of RYTHEME and INTONATION 
2   –     The pass/fail line will be given where there are correct signs of stress and intonation but a lot of distortion
1   –     Will be given for the labored and inaccurate 
0   –     Will be given for almost incomprehensible
