determining height of a triangle
A = 35cm2
½(x +3)x =35
A = ½x2 + 3x/2 =35
x2 +3x − 70 = 0
x = −3 ± √(9 + 4 × 70)
                 2
x = −3 ± 17
            2
x = 14/2
x = 7cm
