  1. Prophet Nathan prophesied that God would make David’s descendant to rule over Israel forever, this is fulfilled when angle Gabriel told Mary during the annunciations that the Lord will give him the thrown of his father David and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever.
  2. The Old Testament prophecies that the Messiah would be born in the lineage of David is fulfilled when angle Gabriel was sent to a young woman Mary, who was betrothed to Joseph who was a descendant of David.
  3. Prophet Isaiah prophesied that a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, this is fulfilled when an angle was sent to Mary a young woman. The angle told Mary that she will conceive by the power of the Holy Spirit.
  4. The Psalmist prophecied that the Messiah would be betrayed by a closest friend. This was fulfilled when Jesus was betrayed by Judas Iscariot.
  5. Prophet Micah prophecied that the Messiah will be born in Bethlehem, the small town of Judah. This is fulfilled when Jesus is Born in Bethlehem the town of David
  6. Prophet Isaiah prophecied that the Messiah would perform miracles. This is fulfilled during Jesus ministry in Nazareth when He performed miracles such as raising the dead.
  7. Prophet Isaiah prophecied that the Messiah would bring salvation to the whole word; this is fulfilled in Simeon’s prophecy during the dedication when he said he had seen the salvation which God had prepared for his people. (Luke 2 : 29 – 32)
