2. The manager knew he was going to be sacked . He made friends with some of his masters debtors so that they would take care of him if he got sacked
3. One debtor who owed 100 barrels of olive oil was asked to pay 50 barrels and one who owed 1000 was asked to pay 800 barrels
4. The master praised him for being wide and acting properly in his moment of crisis
