TASK 2: READING ALOUD

The learner will read the story below as the teacher listens.

Our school's prize giving day finally arrived. All of us hoped to receive an award. I hope I would get one since I was one of the best football players in our school.

Our guest of honour was our Governor whom none of us had seen face to face. After everyone had settled in their classrooms, the bell for assembly was rang. We all gathered at the assembly ground and waited for instructions from our teachers.
