Katika kijiji cha Samaki paliishi mvuvi mmoja kwa jina Adili. Šiku moja alimpa rafiki yake Wema kazi ya kuipaka boti rangi. Wema alikuja na rangi na brashi kama alivyoagizwa na Adili. Alipokuwa akipaka rangi aliona shimo dogo chini ya boti na akaamua kuliziba.

Alimwambia kuwa alisahau kumpa kazi ya kuziba shimo. Boti ilipokauka watoto wake waliichukua na kwenda kuvua na hawakujua kuwa kulikuwa na shimo naye hakuwa nyumbani.
