Child responsibility involves him or her making decisions, being trusted and learning to take credit or blame for action done. It makes her feel that she is contributing to both the family and the community. One of the best ways to teach your child about responsibility is to be a role model for her own benefits and others. Not all work done by our children can be considered as child labour. Some activities may help children to acquire important livelihood skills and contribute to their day to day life. Mmea ni kitu chochote kilichomea chenye majani. Mimea huota kutoka kwenye mbegu. Mimea ikishakauka, mimi hupalilia. Nyanya yangu alinifundisha kufanya haya nilipokuwa mtoto mdogo sana.

Read the story below and answer questions

Pato and Sina were wedding in August. The wedding preparation were almost complete when Pato got involved in a road accident. This was three weeks to the wedding day. Much of their plans were done in hospital. The matron always allowed Sina to stay a little longer after visiting hours. This gave them extra time to prepare for the wedding. There was going to be no dancing because the wedding reception was going to be in the hospital dining hall. The matron said the noise would disturb the other patients.

Among the invited guests were patients who were strong enough to attend, nurses, doctors, close relatives and a few friends. On the wedding day the hall was well decorated with multi-coloured balloons. Pato was in a dark blue suit, purple shirt and a matching tie. He sat on a wheelchair waiting for the bride to enter. Reading Aloud

Odour and Onyiso were great friends. They live in the same village called Madiwo. Their parents earned a living by fishing. The two boys would stand at the shore of lake Victoria and watch their parents offload their catch in baskets. Sometimes they would be called upon to assist in mending the nets in the afternoon

One day Onyiso asked his friend to go to the lake. Usually, they would go to swim in the lake but that day Onyiso wanted them to get to the boat and go fishing. Oduor was reluctant because they had not done that before. Onyiso was persistent and he finally gave in. They started pushing the boat into the lake. Onyiso was excited but Oduor had butterflies in his stomach. Just as they were getting into the boat, his father appeared. He told them of the dangers in the lake
