- Jesus was taken to Jerusalem to be presented to the Lord by his parents
- Simeon took Jesus up his arms/blessed the Lord.
- Simeon said that he was ready to die since he had seen God’s salvation/alight for revelation to the Gentiles/the glory to the Israelites.
- Simeon blessed the parents of Jesus.
- Simeon told Mary/ Jesus mother that the child was set for the fall / rising of many in Israel.

- They met a man who was demon possessed/lived among the tombs
- The man fell down /told Jesus not to torment him
- This is because Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit out of the man
- Jesus asked the man his name
- The man replied his name was Legion
- The demons begged Jesus not to let them go into abyss but into the swine that were nearby
- Jesus commanded the demons to go into the swine
- The swine rushed/drowned in a nearby lake
- The herdsmen then fled/went to tell people in the city concerning what has happened
- The people came and found the man sitting at the feet of Jesus/healed/dressed in his right mind
- The people got afraid of Jesus and asked him to leave the territory
- The healed man asked Jesus whether he could accompany him
- Jesus told him to go and tell others what God had done for him
- The man went through the town proclaiming the good news about Jesus 8-x1=8mrks

- Two other men both criminals were led to be crucified
- They crucified him at the place of skull/Golgotha others on his left
- Jesus said ‘’Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing”.
- People stood watching
- The soldiers divided out his clothes by casting lots
- The rulers mocked him by saying he saved others, let him save himself if he is the son of God.
- The soldiers mocked him/offered him wine
- There was written notice above “this is the King of Jews”.
- One of the criminal hurled insults at him/Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us
- The other one rebuked the other criminal
- The criminal who had repented asked Jesus to remember him in paradise. [8 x1marks]

- Some Christians who possess the gifts of the Holy Spirit develop pride/arrogance;

- Some Christians refuse to utilize the gifts they possess/personalize the gifts;
