- Describe the first account of creation according to Genesis 1 (8 marks)
- In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
- On the first day, God created light and separated it from darkness.
- On the 2nd day, God created the waters above and waters below.
- On the 3rd day God created the seas and land. He also created all types of vegetation on the same day.
- On the 4th day, he created the sun, moon and stars to separate day and night.
- On the 5th day, he created the birds of the air and sea creatures and ordered them to multiply.
- On the 6th day, he created both wild and domestic animals. He created male and female in his own image & likeness, blessed them and asked them to be fruitful and multiply.
- God rested on the 7th day and made it holy.

- While he was still a young man, he received God's call.
- Jeremiah's call was in form of a dialogue with God.

- He had a lonely life / he did not marry / raise a family / did not attend social gatherings.
- He was rejected by people because of his prophetic mission.
- He suffered spiritually /emotionally but persevered.
- He was imprisoned for his message.
- Jeremiah fled to Egypt for refuge / he is believed to have died there.
