• The candidate is advised to spend this time understanding the design problem and planning the work on one of the drawing papers provided.
• Candidates may be penalized for not following the instructions given in this paper.

DESIGN PROBLEM (40 MARKS)
Design a coffee table for two which can also serve as a drawing board.

Consideration

1. It should be stored in a vertical position when not in use.
2. It should be able to serve people of various heights.
3. It should be comfortably used as a drawing board without much straining.

Requirements

1. Sketch two possible solutions. (6mks)
2. Draw a fully labeled pictorial drawing of the selected solution. (11mks)
3. Draw exploded drawing to allow for;
