- The messiah would rule in the midst of his enemies.
- The Messiah would be sent from Zion.
- He would be betrayed by his close friend/associate.
- He would be exalted and sit on the right hand side of God.
- The messiah would enjoy God's protection and victory over his enemies. Any 6x1=6 marks.

- John the Baptist was to be a son
- His name was to be John
- John would be great in the sight of the Lord
- John would bring joy and gladness to his parents/many will rejoice at his birth.
- He was to drink no wine/He would be a Nazarite.
- He would be filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb.
- He would turn many sons of Israel to the Lord their God.
- He would go before the Lord in the Spirit/power of Elijah.
- He would turn the fathers' hearts to the children/bring reconciliation/the disobedient to the wisdom of the just.

- Jesus was teaching in the synagogue on a Sabbath
- The people were astonished because He spoke with authority.
- In the synagogue, there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon.
- The man screamed in a loud voice demanding to know if Jesus had come to destroy them.
- The demon also confessed that he knew Jesus as the Holy one of God/God's messenger.
- Jesus rebuked the demon by saying, "be silent and come out of him"
- The demon came out of the man, throwing him down but causing him no harm.
- The people were amazed at his word and power
- Reports about Jesus went out into the surrounding region. Any 7x1=7 marks.

- He led a simple life.
- John the Baptist was the greatest prophet.

- The kingdom of God has challenges for those who enter it.
- It is for those who are determined and committed to the work of Jesus.
- The kingdom is not a guarantee for the Jews but, the gentiles have higher chances of entering than them.
- The time to enter the kingdom is so short that one has to make a quick decision and repent.
- Everyone should try to enter the kingdom of God.
- The kingdom of God will be established through Jesus' death and resurrection in Jerusalem.
- Earthly rulers have no powers to stop the establishment of the kingdom of God.
- The proponents of the kingdom of God have been persecuted by the Jewish leaders and therefore will be punished by God.
- The kingdom of God grows on happiness not on suffering like the sick. Any 6x1=6 marks
- Relate the parable of the lost son/prodigal son. Luke 15:11-32. (7 marks)
- A man had two sons
- A younger son asked of his share of inheritance/the father shared out his property between the two sons.
- The younger son gathered all he had/took his journey into a far country.
- In a foreign country, the younger son squandered his property in loose living.
- He resorted to a humble job of looking after the pigs to earn his upkeep.
- Feeling that the life that he was now living was disgraceful he regretted the decision he had made by leaving home.
- He opted to go back home and apologize to his father so that he could be hired as one of the servants.
- He was received with great joy by the father who dressed him in new clothes and held a celebration to mark the occasion
- He was happy that the son had come back alive
- The elder son was unhappy because he had never been honored by his father yet he had remained loyal
- The reaction of the elder son was rebuked by the father who gave reasons why they were to celebrate
- He assured the elder son that what he had was his. Any 7x1=7 marks.

- Christians should use the abilities that God has given them for the benefit of others.
- Christians will be rewarded according to their performances,

- A believer who leads a victorious life over temptations
- A believer who is under the influence of the Holy Spirit will never curse Jesus (1 Corinthians 12:1-3)
- Those who possess the gifts of the Holy Spirit do not use the gifts of the Holy Spirit for selfish gains/enrich themselves
- The manifestations of the Holy Spirit should conform to the teachings of the Bible.
- One will give glory to God after performing miracles/serving. Any 7x1=7 marks.

- Christ is the head of the church in the same way the husband is the head of the family.
- The union between a husband and wife is meant to last forever so Christians are called upon to remain faithful to Christ.

- God has given human beings a choice on what is good and bad, and since blood transfusion saves lives it can be considered good.
- A long life is valued and is a blessing and blood transfusion prolongs life. v
- Blood transfusion alleviates the suffering of young families whose members are involved in road accidents.
