1. Message of angel Gabriel to Mary (Luke 1:7:6)
  - She was highly favoured among women.
  - She will bring forth a son.
  - He will be called the son of the most high/son of God
  - Will be given the throne of his father David.
  - He will reign over the house of Jacob forever.
  - The kingdom will be everlasting
  - The holy spirit will come upon her.
  - The child to be born will be holy
  - Elizabeth her cousin had also conceived in her old age.
  - With God, nothing is impossible. (6 x 1 = 6)
2. What the magnificant reveals about the nature of God.
  - God is merciful to those who fear him
  - God is caring – he exalt the humble
  - He is a provider – he fills the angry.
  - He is faithful – keeps his promises.
  - He is kind – helper to his servant Israel.
  - He is Holy.

  - Older Christians accept them to change faster than they can.
  - Some experience problems of communication.
  - They may lack literature to strengthen their faith.
  - In large churches, they get lost in the crowd/not identified/not recognized.
  - The financial demands of the church may be too much for them.
  - Some get frustrated when their expectations are not met.

  - Saving a life can be done on a Sabbath day.
  - It is well to respond ton an emergency even on a Sabbath.
  - Human life is more important than the animal which the Pharisees accept to rescue on the Sabbath day.
  - It is good for to humble him/sit in lowly place when invited.
  - Those who exalt themselves will be humbled.
  - It is a blessing to invite the poor/lame/blind etc to the feast.

2. Reasons why Jesus used the parable of the great feast in his teaching in Lk 14:15 – 24)
  - He wanted to explain that invitation to God’s kingdom is open to everyone.
  - He wanted to show that the Jews were given the first chance to be part of God’s Kingdom but they rejected.
  - He wanted to show that people reject Gods call due to material possession /family commitment which can be a stapling block on ones spiritual life.
  - He wanted to show that gentiles/outcasts are called to God’s kingdom to replace the non responding Jews.
  - He needed to explain that God’s invitation/call is extended to many people/God offers universal salvation.
  - Those who refuse to accept God’s call will not receive blessings of God’s kingdom/will not enter the kingdom of God.

  - Through it they remember the death of Jesus as a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin.
  - The ceremony is a form of thanking God for his love/redemption plan.
  - It is time that Christians reaffirm/renew their faith to God/bind themselves in the covenant.
  - Gives Christians an opportunity to repent.
  - Unites the behaviours/they fellowship/share with one another
  - Those who take experience the presence of God through the sharing of the bread and wine which represent the blood and body of Jesus Christ.

  - Jesus on his way to jairus home a large crowd followed him. In the crowd there was a woman who had a flow of blood for 12 years. She approached Jesus from the back and touched the hem of his garment and the blood stopped immediately Jesus felt power had left him and asked who had touched him. Peter explained to Jesus that the crowd was pressing against him .Realizing that she could not hide any more the woman came forward trembling and fell at Jesus feet. She explained why she had touched Jesus.Jesus told her that her faith had made her well.
  - He told the woman to go in peace.

  - The miracle liberated those who are sick from the physical suffering.
  - They restored people back to the wholeness of life.
  - Raising the dead showed that Jesus conquered pain and death.

1. Narrate the parable of the lost sheep (6mks)
  - The Pharisees and the scribes’murmured saying Jesus was welcoming sinners and eating with them
  - Jesus asked the Pharisees what they could do if they had a hundred sheep and lost one of them.
  - The owner would leave the 99 and go to search for the one that is lost.
  - The owner of the sheep would search for the lost sheep until he finds it .After finding the lost sheep he puts it on his shoulders rejoicing.
  - When he arrived home he called friends and neighbors to come and celebrate over the recovery of the lost sheep. Jesus told them that God Rejoices over one repentant sinner than many righteous persons who do not need repentance.
